Customer Specific Assembly Engineer for Weidmüller Nordic

At Weidmüller, we believe in the power of our people and prioritizing internal growth when possible. Therefore, we’re now searching internally for our next specialist within Customer Specific Assembly (CSA). You will replace Jimmy Friberg, who will change position officially during Autumn. We will provide you with a smooth and good introduction to the position during Q3 2025, with the final assumption of duties in October 2025.

Ready to help us shape the future of Customer Specific Assembly?

Weidmüller is increasingly transitioning from being a pure product supplier to working with solutions focused on our customers. Our task is to evaluate the customer's applications and working methods and provide suggestions for improvements on how they can streamline their processes. This allows for great creativity and variety in the position we are now seeking. You will have a role with lots of responsibility to grow and develop the Customer Specific Assembly (CSA) area – as well as product responsibility for enclosures.

About the role

The role is part of Customer Specific Assemblies, within Operations, and you will report to Christopher Bökwall as Head of Operations.

As CSA Specialist, your main tasks are to coordinate and drive the business of Assembly Services in our Nordic Application Center. In doing this you will:
  • Maintaining contacts, and securing customer requirements
  • Create and manage drawing revisions
  • Creating calculations and offers for Sales
  • Securing delivery performance of our CSA products
  • Manage suppliers and logistics of components and finished goods
You will work in a small but experienced team and in close collaboration with Sales, Customer Services, Logistics and MRP.

Training will be very much “on the job”, but you will also receive first hand training from your nearest colleague and mentor. You will be well-networked with the Business Unit and can expect good support from them.

Many of the tasks require presence at our headquarters in Malmö, so the applicant should reside in the vicinity. The position includes time with customers and other group companies (occasional trips to the parent company in Germany may occur). A driver's license (category B) is required for the position.

Our expectations

We are looking for someone with a high school education with a technical focus, preferably in electrical/automation. It is advantageous if you have a post-secondary education with a technical focus. You have a strong interest in technology and feel comfortable handling Windows applications. Creating solutions in a customer-oriented manner is something that motivates and engages you.

You speak and write Swedish and English fluently. Good knowledge of MS Office is a requirement, and experience working with SAP CRM, and different PLM systems is advantageous.

As a person, you are communicative, have the ability to build relationships, and enjoy a day with various tasks. Additionally, you have a service-oriented and commercial approach, without losing your eye for details in the practical work.

We are committed to building a team that reflects the diversity of the world we serve. Whether you meet all the criteria or bring a fresh perspective, we encourage you to apply, your passion and enthusiasm are what matter most.
